Packages FAQ What are Hettich centrifuges used for at blood banks? Every day, thousands of blood donations are needed for surgical procedures or to treat serious diseases. Blood banks prepare the donated blood by separating the blood into its individual cell components. HETTICH centrifuges are used for this separation at blood banks all over the world and perform reliably 24/7. HETTICH centrifuges are particularly valued for their reliable temperature control, which produces precise and reproducible results. Is it possible to upgrade or retrofit my centrifuge with the HettInfo II? Yes. All ROTO SILENTA 630 RS devices produced from January 1, 2008 onwards can be upgraded to the HettInfo II. All ROTIXA 500 RS devices can also be upgraded to the HettInfo II. What is the field of application for the HettLiner? The HettLiner can be used to support underfilled blood bags in the adapter.
