Your tasks
- Establishing an efficient and effective payroll process and identifying measures for the continuous improvement of payroll processing.
- Processing payroll for approximately 350 employees in accordance with collective bargaining agreements, company policies, labor laws, tax laws, and social security regulations
- Handling special payroll-related transactions, e.g., one-time payments, partial retirement, company pension plans, and wage garnishments
- Coordination with external entities such as government offices, authorities, and health insurance providers, including reporting and certification procedures, and support during tax audits
- Point of contact (m/f/d) for all matters related to company and collective bargaining regulations, compensation structure and deductions, as well as company pension plans
- Preparation of reports and key performance indicators as specified
Your profile
- Successful completion of a commercial vocational training program
- Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting
- Solid SAP HCM user skills
- Excellent knowledge of tax and social security law; ideally, experience with collective bargaining agreements
- Reliable and responsible work ethic
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
