Your tasks
- Planning, prioritizing, and coordinating test tasks, as well as providing technical guidance to the test team in close collaboration with project management
- Ensuring the timely execution of required system and software tests
- Responsibility for project-wide defect management (both content and process design)
- Ensuring quality standards through customer-focused testing activities and close collaboration with development teams
- Developing necessary tests to meet regulatory requirements (IEC 62304, ISO 13485)
- Design and further development of product release reporting, incorporating the test activities of the developing departments
- Co-design and implementation of an (automated) test strategy (CI/CT)
- Monitoring, evaluating, and integrating current technology trends in the field of testing
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, systems development, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in test strategy development and defect management
- Experience as a test manager on projects or in the technical leadership of test teams
- Proficiency with an ALM tool, ideally Polarion
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous testing as well as various testing tools (HiL, SiL, Replay)
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
- Experience in the areas of IEC 62304 and cybersecurity is desirable
- Good command of German and English
- High degree of personal responsibility, ability to work in a team, and strong communication and facilitation skills
