Laboratories use extraction systems to extract, collect and then remove liquids from cuvettes, microtitre plates, culture flasks, tubes and petri dishes. This is a routine task that requires equipment that is compact, but also easy to operate and install.

Hettich Benelux has three models of extraction systems, ranging from a simple to an automatic system. Various accessories are available for the systems and, if necessary, an expansion kit. The bottle quick-release couplings are easy to remove and empty.

The standard system (AC 02/04) is standard equipped with:

1x bottle holder for 2 or 4 litres bottle (not the stainless steel one)
1x 2 litres or 4 litres bottle with fast lock in screw cap
1x set of tubes consisting of memrbane filter 0,2 μm, 2x Hose clip Ø 6 mm, 1x ventilation insert for autoclaving Ø 6 mm, 1x silicone tube (3 m) 6 x 2 mm
1x membrane vacuum pump AP15 of 100 mBar

The extraction rate of this AC 02/04 model is about 25 liters of air per minute. For proper operation, we recommend using the handle and the stainless steel bottle holder to prevent the bottle from falling over and clogging the filter and stopping the system.

There is a system available for every budget ranging from a simple to an automatic system where the vacuum pump shuts off when the vacuum is reached.

Easily cleanable

The bottles are equipped with a quick-release coupling, making it easy to remove the vacuum hoses and empty/clean the bottle. Bottles are autoclavable.

User friendly

The Aspiration systems are easy to install and can optionally be fitted with a nozzle using Luer-Lock adapter which allows the attachment of a Pasteur pipette.
