The Hettich Benelux MoPlant is a nice example of our customization that has become a standard product. Namely, it is a complete product (all in 1) for the determination of both butterfat and total solids in milk and dairy products according to the Mojonnier method.

The weight analytical extraction method Röse-Gottlieb and Schmidt-Bondzynski with its very high accuracy (better than 0.02 %) is still the obvious tool for science, research and reference.

With standard laboratory equipment, it takes more time (5 hours) and space to perform tests according to this well-known extraction method. All necessary steps (dissolving, extracting, centrifuging, pouring, evaporating, drying and cooling) can be performed in one place thanks to the MoPlant.

The MoPlant is explosion-proof and saves time; it takes only ± 80 minutes to perform all tests. The MoPlant has been extensively tested and validated by an independent laboratory; test results are available upon request.

The MoPlant “Single” has 1x centrifuge, 1x hot plate, 1x vacuum oven, 1x cooling chamber. In addition, there is the choice of side tables or not.

Explosion proof

The MoPlant is explosion proof because of the overpressure system in the technical room. 

(Harmful) odors from the solvent are immediately extracted by the built-in extraction system. 

Time-saving

Because all processes are in 1 device and the use of a vacuum oven, the total time per test is only ± 80 minutes. 

Compact design

Multiple units are combined into 1 unit with a clear control panel and extraction. 

No extraction (fume hood) is further needed. Inside the device:

- Cooling chamber 

High accuracy

A high accuracy of more than 0.02 % is achieved by using the analytical extraction method according to Röse-Gottlieb and Schmidt-Bondzynski.
