At the Hettich Group, we take good care of the environment. We use energy and raw materials as efficiently as possible, prevent waste and continuously improve our processes. This enables us to manufacture high-quality products and protect nature for the present and the future. Hettich Benelux is also ISO 14001 certified (Environmental Management System).

At Hettich Benelux, our environmental policy focuses on avoiding and minimizing environmental impacts for future generations. Continuous improvement of our processes and efficient use of resources are essential to this goal.

Our production facility has been equipped with modern LED lighting for some time now. We are currently working on switching to LED in the office and general areas. This measure will significantly reduce our energy consumption and CO2 emissions. In addition, LED technology improves light quality, which benefits the working conditions for our employees. With this initiative, we are taking another step towards a more environmentally friendly and efficient production process.
Hettich Benelux uses the website programme provided by Andreas Hettich. Since mid-2022, Andreas Hettich GmbH has been part of the initiative for ‘CO2-neutral websites’.
Together with more than 2,500 companies, we support the implementation of global climate projects and offset the CO2 emissions generated by your visit to our website.
The initiative calculates each company's contribution based on the average number of visitors per month, taking into account the energy consumption of servers, computers, smartphones and tablets.
Our website has been awarded the initiative's seal of approval and the “Carbon Neutral Website” certificate.
We encourage our employees to contribute to climate protection. We support employees who want to travel in an environmentally friendly way:
- At our office in Geldermalsen, there are free charging points for e-bikes, hybrid cars and electric vehicles.
- For employees who live outside the city, we reimburse 100% of the costs for public transport.
- In addition, our products are made as energy-efficient and environmentally friendly as possible.
