Gram has several models in the explosion-proof refrigerator category. All ExGuard, BioPlus, BioMidi and BioCompact II models comply with both internal and external ATEX guidelines as standard, free of charge. The ExGuard is designed to provide users with a safer working environment. This range offers a safe and reliable solution for materials that can create a hazardous atmosphere. Internal and external ATEX Cat. 3, Zone 2 compliance with integrated ventilation activation and additional safety features that prevent the enclosure from being opened before potentially hazardous atmospheres have been extracted. All equipment complies (internally and externally) with the ATEX directive for a safe working environment. The ExGuard is available with a volume of 614 litres and a temperature range of -2/+20°C.

Other options are:

BioPlus:: advanced models that meet the strictest requirements for storing biomaterial. The interior is made entirely of stainless steel. The compressor is located at the top of the cabinet. Available in six sizes (500–1400 litres) and a temperature range of -2 °C to +20 °C. The BioPlus series is the ultimate combination of ease of use and performance.

BioMidi: meets all requirements for the storage of biomaterial and is the ideal choice when maintaining a stable temperature is an absolute must. The compressor is located at the bottom of the cabinet and the side walls (inside) are made of aluminium or stainless steel. These models are slightly more economical and have a capacity of 425 or 625 litres.

BioCompact II: forced cooling for general purposes and has the same high-quality specifications as the BioMidi models. The BioCompact II cabinets are available in various sizes, from under-counter to full height, with volumes ranging from 125 to 583 litres.
