The laboratory refrigerators of Helmer Scientific are professional medical grade refrigerators designed and manufacturerd specially for the clinal laboratory and blood bank. 

These refrigerators are powered by OptiCool™ cooling technology which means a refrigerator with optimized control in temperature, noise and energy management due to a variable capacity compressor (VCC) and natural hydrocarbon (HC).  With the Helmer laboratory refrigerators your are reducing costs and supporting sustainablility in the professional healthcare environment. These refrigerators are 50 - 65% more energy efficient than conventional medical-grade refrigerators and are 3x quieter. Less equipment noise means fewer distractions and better working environment. The carbon footprint is low as the natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerant decreases globel warming potential dramatically.

The Laboratory refrigerators are available in the i.Series® and Horizon Series™. Both series are equipped with a microprocessor temperature controller, min/,ax display and reset and alarms for i.e. high and low temperature, door open and power failure.  For optional access control a keypad lock is available for the Horizon Series™ and it is onscreen (with downloadable access log) for the i.Series®. 

Furthermore the i.Series® are higher end models with more more features like full-color touchscreen, interactive temperature graph, detailled eent log, automatic alarm testing and ethernet capability.
