Hettich Benelux Hypothermia Cabinets

At Hettich Benelux we manufacture, in-house, standard or customized (within the MDR-rules) Hypothermia Cabinets. Our hypothermia cabinets are registered with the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport as class 1 Medical Device.

Freestanding standard hypothermia cabinets are available in volumes 575, 1250 or 2x250 litres. These models have fast recovery times due to the unique air circulation system and a temperature accuracy of ± 0.5 °C at 37 °C.  We also supply combination cabinets with compartments that work independently of each other. It is possible to make any desired combination of heated or cooled compartments. The cabinets can also be installed as a complete wall with ceiling and floor finishes.

The hypothermia cabinets are also available als built-in units.  These are always tailor-made according to the customer's wishes. The exterior consists of coated stainless steel or brushed stainless steel. For the interior you can choose from 316 stainless steel or 304 stainless steel (standard). In addition, you can choose drawers or doors and a compartment with cooling and/or heating. The built-in models are fully integrated into the wall and have a low noise level. Temperature accuracy is ± 0.5 °C at 37 °C or ± 2 °C at 4 °C.

A dust filter is standard for the built-in model when using it for blankets.

All our hypothermia cabinets feature independent protection against under- and over-temperature.

Advantages

Optimally accessible

Easy access thanks to drawers with telescopic pull-out rails.

No inner door required for the version with door.

Alerting

The hypothermia cabinets feature an acoustic and visual alarm, which can be linked to a building management system if required.

Independent monitoring with our SYCL monitoring system is also possible.

Economical

Thanks to excellent insulation and an optimal control system, energy consumption is low.

The programmed 'neutral zone' ensures maximum energy savings.

This ensures that cooling or heating only takes place until the set temperature is reached. This gives a constant temperature but also saves a lot of energy.

Safety - cabinet

The cabinet is self-closing with a door opening of < 90 degrees and is tightly sealed by a magnetic door rubber. Door is lockable with lock, controller settings can be locked with a code.

Also in the built-in version, the drawers have a magnetic sealing rubber.
