Hettich Benelux Automatic Aspiration System

Laboratories use extraction systems to extract, collect and then remove liquids from cuvettes, microtitre plates, culture flasks, tubes and petri dishes. This is a routine task that requires equipment that is compact, but also easy to operate and install.

Hettich Benelux has three models of extraction systems, ranging from a simple to an automatic system. Various accessories are available for the systems and, if necessary, an expansion kit. The bottle quick-release couplings are easy to remove and empty.

The advantage of the automatic system (AA 02/04/24) is that it can be connected to multiple (up to 4) bottles and extraction points and that this system automatically switches off when the vacuum is reached. Standard equipped with:

• Membrane vacuum pump of 100 mBar (AP30)
• 1 bottle of 2 or 4 litres (with quick-release connection)1x hose set incl. membrane filter 0.2 μm, 2x AW 01 hose clip Ø 6 mm, 1x ventilation insert for autoclaving Ø 6 mm and 1x silicone hose 3m (6 x 2 mm)
• Handle with flow control AH01 (see accessories for details) 
• User manual English/German

The suction speed of this AA model is approx. 12 litres of air per minute. For proper operation, we recommend using the handle and the stainless steel bottle holder (if you do not place the bottle on the unit) to prevent the bottle from tipping over and clogging the filter and stopping the system. The AA24 is our automatic system with 2 handles.
