Are you a technician who thrives on variety, freedom and solving technical challenges? Do you enjoy being on the road and having direct contact with customers? Then you’ll probably feel right at home in our Service & Installation team.

As a Service Engineer, you’re the one who ensures that laboratory equipment continues to function optimally. You carry out installations, resolve faults and perform preventative maintenance for customers throughout the Netherlands. Thanks to your technical knowledge and customer-focused approach, our customers can carry on with their work without disruption.

No two days are the same. One day you might be installing new equipment at a university; the next, you could be resolving a fault at a hospital or research institute. You are the face of Hettich Benelux and, through your expertise, you make a difference every day.

Your tasks

Installing, maintaining and repairing laboratory equipment.
Analysing and resolving faults at customers’ premises.
Informing customers about the work carried out.
Accurately recording calibration data and/or protocols.
Preparing your work independently.
Keeping in touch with the Service Planner regarding progress.
Managing your own service stock and company van.
Working in accordance with the applicable safety guidelines.

Your profile

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Technical insight and a practical approach.
A customer- and service-oriented attitude.
A good command of Dutch and English.
Category B driving licence.
Availability of at least 32 hours per week.

Do you have a qualification or experience in Measurement and Control Engineering? If so, this would be an advantage.

Salary - Service Engineer

A competitive salary based on job level, education and experience. Salary range: € 2.700,00 and
€ 4.000,00

Holiday entitlement

If you are employed full-time, you are entitled to min. 26 days of leave. A number of days per year are designated as collective days, for example the Friday after Ascension Day.
