Hettich Benelux PRC 3200 WL

The Hettich Benelux plant growth cabinets (PRC) use broad spectrum white LEDs, approximating 95% of the light spectrum of sunlight, with independently switchable far-red LED lighting.

Thanks to the minimal heat generation of the plateaus, there is better and more stable temperature homogeneity in the cabinets. Because of the uniform light coverage of the effective working surface you do not have to deal with 'dark corners'. Low cooling capacity also results in low energy consumption.

The PRC 3200 is also available in the ‘extended height’ version for growth of larger products like grain. The external height of this version is 2300 mm (internal 1910 mm).

Also available is the PRC 3200 for -10 °C; used for vernalization of plants amongst others.

Advantages

Sunlight

The Plant Growth Cabinets use adjustable, broad spectrum white LEDS that are close to the light spectrum of sunlight. In addition to the white LEDs, far red LED lighting can also be switched on.

LED / Dimmable

The plant growth cabinets are available with the light intensities: 200 - 1100 µMol. Switching on and off far red LED lighting is also possible.

The LED lighting is dimmable from 100% to 10% with all plant growing cabinets. With the 1700 WL and 3200 WL models, ramping of the light is possible.

An important advantage of LED lighting is that their light intensity does not decrease with decrease of temperature.

Growth height & area

The standard models (WL) have 1, 2 or 3 height-adjustable LED shelves which can be dimmed independently of each other.

In each model the height between the LED lighting and the shelf can be set between 40 - 50 centimeters (when using 3 light shelves).

Sustainable growth

The distribution of LED lighting over the entire growing surface and the use of specially selected LEDs guarantees homogeneous lighting from 31 millimetres.

The temperature and humidity are conditioned at the bottom of the cabinet and blown out uniformly across the back wall at a low air velocity.

An automatic watering system can be installed in the cabinet.

Low energy

All plant growth chambers have a data recording function (for temperature and humidity) and a touch screen controller on which temperature and light are programmable.

Optional: humidity and CO2 control.
